After the last session on Tuesday 8 th (departure time 17:45 hrs) we'll arrange a visit to the stunning Perelada Castle in Perelada (about 50km north Girona, in the Empordà region) where some of the best wine and Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) are still made with great care. The Carmelite monastery has a notable collection of glassware and crystal ware, a wonderful library, a wine museum and cellars which we'll visit. The excursion also includes Wine Tasting at the Castle.

Before coming back to Girona we'll have a typical Catalan dinner in Perelada, including salads, tomato toasts and different sorts of cheese and sausages from the region.

We expect to arrive to Girona between 23:00 - 23:30 hrs.

The cost of the excursion is 20 € and includes transportation, guided visit, wine tasting and dinner. Tickets and further information will be provided at the Registration Desk on Tuesday morning.
